Muay Thai is a high-intensity workout that effectively burns calories and fat. Boost your cardiovascular health while burning 600 to 1,000+ calories per hour, depending on training intensity and fitness level.
Stress is inevitable in modern life, but regular exercise can help manage it. Muay Thai workouts release endorphins, promoting hormonal balance and improving your ability to cope with stress. Additionally, Muay Thai boosts self-confidence and body image, enhancing mental health and reducing stress's impact.
Bang Muay Thai is a striking system developed by Duane "Bang" Ludwig, a renowned martial artist and coach. It combines elements of traditional Muay Thai with techniques from other striking martial arts, such as boxing and kickboxing, along with concepts from mixed martial arts (MMA). The system emphasizes fluidity, efficiency, and versatility in striking, incorporating a wide range of techniques including punches, kicks, elbows, and knees.
"As a lifetime athlete, Muay Thai posed a new challenge, and I've come to love the art, heart, and lifestyle of the MMA-inspired world at Bang Muay Thai Novi, hosted by IMA. I've met great teammates from all walks of life, and whether you're a beginner or experienced, this team and instructors will help you reach your next level."

"I did Tae Kwon Do for two years in high school. I decided to try Muay Thai in December 2022. I don’t do Jiu Jitsu. I’m glad I came. The head coach, Don, adapts training to my needs. The assistant coaches take after him. The gym atmosphere is positive. Most coaches and students are men, but there are some women. The classes are a good blend of technique, conditioning, and drills. I’ve built muscles I didn’t know I had! The gym provides as many opportunities as one would like: Muay Thai classes Monday-Thursday plus sparring on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. The trials are generous, so give it a try!"

"The instructors are excellent. As a 32 year old, this is my first experience with martial arts training. I enjoy every session and feel both challenged and supported through my learning.."

"I’ve been taking classes for about six months at Bang. The experience was more than expected, I’ve learn about the sport of Muay Thai, practical defense with real world applications. At 39 years old it was intimidating to try something new, but the staff and students are always very supportive. Iam very happy I found this place to train."
